WhatPDF Online · Organize pages

Organize PDF pages without dismantling the document by hand.

Extract selected PDF pages into a new document

Extraction becomes handy when you want to leave the original PDF untouched but pull out specific pages into a smaller file. Just enter the page numbers or ranges you need, like 1, 3, 5–8, and WhatPDF builds a new PDF with only those pages. It’s different from splitting, which breaks every page into its own separate file.

Common uses include grabbing the signature pages from a contract, saving one chapter from a longer manual, pulling a few invoice pages out of a statement, or turning a big report into a shorter handout.

Reorder PDF pages when the sequence is wrong

Scans can get messed up when done in a hurry. Page 3 ends up before page 2, a cover sheet gets added later, or two sections need to switch places. The Reorder tool lets you set a new page sequence and create a fresh PDF in that order. You can even intentionally repeat a page if the same one needs to appear more than once.

For shorter documents, typing a sequence like 3, 1, 2, 4–8 is often quicker and more precise than dragging thumbnails around. It also works better on smaller screens where drag-and-drop can feel fiddly.

Delete unwanted PDF pages without touching the rest

Use Delete Pages when a PDF has pages that shouldn’t belong in the final version, for example: blank scanner sheets, outdated instructions, duplicates, a confidential appendix that shouldn’t go out with the rest of the document, or a cover page that’s no longer needed.

The tool builds a new PDF with only the pages you keep. It doesn’t overwrite the original file on your device, so you have a simple safety net: hang on to the original until you’ve checked the new version.

Rotate PDF pages and save the corrected orientation

Rotation is helpful when the documents are stored in the wrong orientation, not just looking sideways in one viewer. WhatPDF can turn selected pages 90° clockwise, 180°, or 90° counter-clockwise, then save the result as a new PDF.

This comes up all the time with phone scans, flatbed scanners, mixed portrait-and-landscape packets, and PDFs put together from different sources. You can rotate every page or just the ones that need it.

One page-management workflow instead of four disconnected tools

These tasks do often overlap. You might pull ten pages from a 70-page report, reorder a couple of them, delete a blank page, and rotate a landscape scan, all before sending the final document. Putting the functions together in one Organize area makes that mental model clearer: you’re managing the page structure, not jumping between unrelated tools.

Extract, split, delete: the difference matters

  • Extract pages creates one new PDF from the page numbers you select.
  • Split PDF separates every page into individual PDF files.
  • Delete pages creates a new PDF containing everything except the pages you remove.
  • Reorder pages creates a new PDF using the sequence you specify.
  • Rotate pages keeps the document structure but changes the orientation of selected pages.

If your starting point is several separate PDFs rather than one PDF with page problems, use the Merge & Split PDFs page instead.

Privacy when organising documents

Page management often involves the type of documents people are reluctant to upload casually, for example bank statements, contracts, forms, ID documents, internal reports, and private correspondence. WhatPDF Online is built so these supported page operations happen right in the browser, rather than by deliberately sending the PDF contents to UsefulKits for server-side processing.

Some of the web app’s code is loaded from external content-delivery networks, and the application itself needs an internet connection to load. The local-first approach refers to the PDF-processing workflow, not a claim that the page makes no network requests at all.

Practical habits that prevent mistakes

Keep the original PDF until you have opened and checked the exported copy. If you are removing sensitive information, remember that deleting an entire page is different from redacting text on a page. If the sensitive material is printed on a page you still need, page deletion is not the right tool; WhatPDF Full Edition includes a separate secure-redaction workflow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reorder only a few pages?

Yes. Enter the complete order you want for the exported PDF. For example, you can move page 3 to the front and keep the remaining pages after it.

Can I extract several non-consecutive pages?

Yes. You can mix single page numbers and ranges, such as 1, 4, 7–10.

Does deleting a page permanently alter my original file?

WhatPDF exports a new PDF. Your original file remains on your device unless you choose to delete or replace it yourself.

Can I rotate just one scanned page?

Yes. Select the page number or page range and choose the required rotation.

How UsefulKits handles information

Website, browser-app, contact, checkout and download information in one place.

Browser-app records generally stay on your device. UsefulKits does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on this website.
01

This website

The website does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Its main text, images, videos and scripts are loaded from the same website.

02

Contact messages

When you use the contact form, the name, reply email address, subject and message you enter are sent through an email-delivery provider. A temporary hashed network identifier may be used briefly to limit repeated automated submissions. Contact details are used to answer the message and provide support.

03

Stripe checkout

UsefulKits uses Stripe for secure checkout and payment processing. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and payment policies. UsefulKits does not receive complete payment-card details.

04

Secure download delivery

For secure Stripe delivery, the site verifies the completed Checkout Session before releasing a purchased ZIP. It may record the session ID, payment status, amount, currency, download count and download times. Card details are not stored.

05

Browser-app data storage

Browser apps supplied through this site may store app records locally using standard HTML5 browser-storage technologies such as local storage, IndexedDB and browser cache. Unless an app states otherwise, locally stored records are not automatically synchronised between browsers or devices.

Clearing browser data, using private browsing, changing browsers, resetting a device or losing access to it may make locally stored records unavailable. Use any export or backup controls provided and keep backup files somewhere safe.

06

HTML5 browser-app safety

UsefulKits browser apps are supplied as HTML, CSS and JavaScript files that run inside a compatible modern browser. They do not require a native installer or administrator access. Modern browsers isolate web content within a browser sandbox, and an app cannot access unrelated files unless you choose a file or grant a browser permission.

No file format can guarantee complete safety. Use an up-to-date browser and open only copies obtained from the UsefulKits website.

07

Optional app functions

Some apps may provide receipt scanning, camera access, file import, file export or currency conversion. Browser permission is required for relevant device features. Review scanned, imported or converted values before saving them.

08

No financial advice

Budgeting, planning, reporting or record-keeping functions provided by UsefulKits apps are organisational tools. They do not provide financial, tax, legal or investment advice.
